ROV deck checks

The remotely operated vehicle (ROV) on-deck, attached to its tether management system. The left manipulator arm aims twin 700W LED spot lights, and the right arm holds a stereo camera system which transmits 3D video via fiber optic to the surface. The lighting level and camera pan/tilt are controlled by a surface operator in real-time, with systems designed and built on the ship using spare parts from the sub. Photo courtesy of L.M.
